Unity - Made in Ukraine Mega Bundle

About this tutorial

In this video I am covering the Unity - Made in Ukraine Mega Bundle. This is an asset bundle of assets created by Ukrainian developers and 100% of net revenue goes to Ukrainian Humanitarian Efforts. https://assetstore.unity.com/mega-bundles/made-in-ukraine The link above is NOT an affiliate link.

Written Guide

This bundle is a little different from the usual asset roundup: the Unity Made in Ukraine Mega Bundle collects assets from Ukrainian creators on the Asset Store, and 100 percent of the net revenue goes to Ukraine humanitarian efforts. It also happens to contain some legitimately great assets.

How the tiers work

The structure is the standard mega bundle ladder: a 30 dollar tier with the first four assets, a 35 dollar tier that adds four more, and a 40 dollar tier that includes everything on the page. Given the cause and the small jumps between tiers, buying the whole bundle at 40 dollars is the obvious move.

Hand-painted worlds and clever tech

In the RTS Mega Pack you get a set of 3D village models that are all hand-painted, which gives them a warmth most kit-bashed assets lack. The most technically interesting item is a leg movement asset: attach any skinned mesh leg component to a main body, and as you move that body, all the legs automatically move appropriately with it - and it does not matter how many legs you set up. For creature-heavy games, that is procedural animation you would otherwise have to build yourself.

Shaders and effects

The Sci-Fi Shader Pack ships 14 different shaders - one Jerry wants for a game he is currently working on. The Toons VFX pack covers stylized cartoon effects if your game leans playful rather than realistic.

Environments and space stations

The Nature Pack works across all the render pipelines and is absolutely beautiful - an easy recommendation, and one Jerry already owns himself. The Sci-Fi Heavy Station rounds things out with pre-configured assets you snap together to build your own space station layouts.

Why buy it

Even judged purely as an asset bundle, the 40 dollar tier holds its own against any mega bundle - hand-painted environments, a procedural leg system, shaders, VFX, and two strong environment packs. Judged as a way to route the full net revenue to humanitarian relief while stocking your asset library, it is well worth the support.

One practical note on the tiers: the 35 dollar level gets you the second set of four assets plus the first four, so the structure genuinely rewards going to the top. Forty dollars for the full set is modest for what is included - and in this case every dollar of net revenue is doing double duty as both an asset purchase and humanitarian support.
